So glad to see the frost in the air and the cold sunny mornings. It's brisk, it wakes you up and it reminds you that you're Canadian. I love a true Canadian winter with lots of snow, snow days and cold temps. You bundle up and head outside. Yes, you do need scarves, mittens, hats and boots, The air is fresh. You can see your breath and you need to keep moving to keep warm. When snow falls, it brings you back to those carefree days of childhood. You catch snowflakes on your tongue. You roll in the snow and do snow angels. And, who can resist the temptation to make a snow ball and toss it. Don't forget to try and slide down a hill on whatever's available to you - your snow pants, a garbage bag, or an old wooden tobaggan. When you head back inside, you deserve comfort food, some stew, chili or a casserole. Oh, and don't forget the hot chocolate made with warmed milk and topped with whipped cream. Give it a try, you might like it.

So this is blogging
Ok, I've never blogged. I'm not a great writer and most days I have little to say. However, I'm getting older and with age comes wisdom. Believe me, it's true. No one wants to listen to you, but I've been there, done that and I've learned. At least, sometimes. I have lots and lots of experience. I've always thought I should write down what I've learnt and pass it on to those who are younger. But, they aren't ready to listen. Just like me when I was young. Sometimes you just need to do it.
